Taking the stairs two at a time, Lincoln pushed his phone into his pocket as he looked up and caught sight of Lee fussing a bit. Smiling up at her, he took the last couple of steps and stood tall in front of her.

"Hey," Lincoln began, reaching out to touch her hip gently before enveloping her in a hug. "Was I late? Am I late?"

Everything in her relaxed when he touched her. She squeezed him back and pressed herself flush against him. "You're not late." She said, looking up at him. "Did you have a good day?" Maybe if they started like they normally did the whole Cam thing from the other night wouldn't be so hard to get to.

Leaning down, he pressed his face against her shoulder and breathed in deep. She smelled amazing, like always, and just like his Lee. Tugging her closer into his warmer body, he held her for a little while longer as they stood in her doorway.

"The usual, slept late and destroyed a couple punks on GTA." Lincoln murmured against her neck before pulling back in her arms. "This feels good."

Lee smiled at him. "It does." She said, tugging his arms to loosen them and leading him inside, kicking the door shut behind them. "Did you leave the punks crying?" She said, heading into the kitchen, leaning into the fridge and digging around for the some beers.

Grumbling in a fake protest as Lee slipped out of his arms, Lincoln followed Lee into her kitchen. Watching her lean into the fridge, his eyes travelled down her back before he reached out to slide his hands round her waist. He had missed her, it had felt weird after the other night but this was good.

"I did not but I did get a new boat out of it," Lincoln murmured, burying his face against Lee's neck. Brushing his lips against her skin, he hugged her gently from behind and made a happy, content little noise. She always smelled so good and fit just so well in his arms. "So, what do you want to do tonight?"

Pushing a beer at one of the hands around her waist, Lee leaned back to look up at him. "A new boat? You better be taking me for rides in that later." She said leaning her head to the side and sucking in a breath when his lips brushed her throat. After the other night and talking with Cam, she should be more wary of this but it just felt right and she couldn't bring herself to force him to stop. They did have to talk about what happened though. Lincoln couldn't get away with going all alpha-male whenever Lee dated, not if it was just about possession. Lee hated being a grownup sometimes.

She cleared her throat and turned in his arms to look at him. "Can we talk for a bit? About Cam and the other night?"

"Yes, I will be taking you for a ride later." He murmured roughly, his mouth close to Lee's ear as he held her close. Taking the beer, his hands brushed against hers as they curled around the bottle before he drew it up to his mouth. "Sure, though that sounds ominous. Do I need to level up before the conversation?"

Lincoln stood a little taller, taking a step back to lean against one of her counters. Tugging Lee with him, he glanced down at her thoughtfully as she turned round to face him.

"Right, Cam... So, What about the other night?"

She smiled and shook her head. "You might level up after the conversation though. Maybe even earn my lasagne if you're lucky."

Letting him pull her close, she sobered a little. "You know what." Lee said quietly. "I was on a date. You kinda went a little nuts."

"I hate this in Dragon Age, I feel like you're going to minus ten disapprove of me if I say the wrong thing. Do I get a do over for the lasagne?" Lincoln asked quiet, a soft smile on his lips as he looked down at Lee. Pressing his lips together he nodded at her assessment and sighed. He'd been well, not nuts by say Roosevelt's standards but how own code definitely.

"I know, I'm sorry I just- I didn't like... It wasn't him, I don't know him but I didn't like the idea of him...." Lincoln replied honestly. He had lost his control a little but he hadn't liked the way the guy was looking at Lee or going to kiss her when he- "... With you. Kissing you."

"Yes Linc, you can have a do over for food. Like I'd ever deny your stomach." She teased gently before she looked up at him.

"I gathered you weren't happy by the way you nearly glared a hole through him." Lee said, rolling her eyes and smiling ruefully. "What I want to know is why. I know I haven't dated in a while but I'm going to, and I'm going to kiss people." She said, watching his jaw tighten a little. "Cam...Cam said he thought you were marking your territory."

"Good, I think you're the only one that can out eat me and I still don't know how." Lincoln stretched his hands round her itty bitty waist and settled his hands at her back. He felt comfortable like this but then he always felt comfortable like this. With Lee.

"I might have lost my cool a little," Lincoln admitted. His even temper was a reliable thing l, all his friends knew that but that was only because he kept control on if. Control which had been sorely tempted. "I know I date and it doesn't change anything between us. And I know you're not territory, I just-"

He tensed when she talked about dating, kissing other people and that was unfair. He'd been on dates, recently as well but something had changed. With them. He wasn't sure when or what but it had.

"I just didn't want him kissing you or touching you when I-" His voice trailed off as he tried to explain it. Groaning in frustration he pressed his forehead against hers, trying to figure out what he meant. "-I can get a do over, right?"

Reaching up to brush her hair back, Lincoln pressed his lips against hers.

The way he was struggling to say what he meant made her frown. He wasn't ever so frustrated it silenced him and when he related his forehead against her she just wanted to stay there like that for as long as it took to calm him. "Lincoln, you can te-..."

She didn't get to finish her thought because Lincoln pressed his lips to hers in an achingly gentle kiss. A surprised noise escaped her and she froze for a second before she got her act together and kissed him back, pressing close and smiling a little.

Brushing his thumb against her cheek, Lincoln enjoyed the soft feel of her hair through his fingers as he pushed a hand gently into her hair. At the little noise of surprise he made to pull away before groaning into the kiss Lee chased from him.

He broke the kiss though, for a moment, to look at her; Really look at her. She had always looked beautiful to him but right now her lips were wet, soft, and kissable. He couldn't have stopped himself from kissing her again even if he had wanted to. And he didn't.

Hand pressing against her back, Lincoln pressed her closer until he could feel every inch of Lee against him. Bending down to kiss her, he teased her lips apart as he deepened the kiss.

Lee reached up and threaded her fingers through his hair, rising up on her toes as he deepened the kiss. She could do this forever. In fact, she was wondering why they hadn't been doing this forever. Lincoln was her closest friend, but there was more than that.

Breaking the kiss naturally, she dropped her head to his shoulder to just breathe for a second. She needed a minute before this went any further because as much as she wanted to just carry on kissing him, she needed to be sure what was going on.

"Lincoln..." She said and it came out far more breathily than she intended. Laughing, she cleared her throat and looked up at him. "This is...what is this? We don't do this."

Letting out a soft groan as he felt Lee's fingers brush through his hair, Lincoln almost wished that he'd kissed her sooner. Then they could have been kissing all this time. All those times he'd stayed over or she had and not doing anything.

Tightening his hold on Lee, Lincoln cleared his throat as they broke the kiss. Smiling as he glanced down at her, he brushed her hair back before ducking down to kiss her again even as she spoke his name.

"Yeah?" Lincoln began, running his thumb over her bottom lip. It was hard to think, he just had to try and think it through logically. "Why not? Why don't we do this? It's just us but a bit more."

He kissed her again and Lee melted against him, going after him hungrily until she caught herself and took a breath. She licked her lips and caught the thumb he was stroking over her bottom lip, blushing but not pulling back. Lee had the obscene urge to open up and wrap her lips around his thumb and she had to close her eyes for a second to tamp it down.

She opened her eyes and smiled. "God, you're making this difficult." She said, reaching up to move his distracting hand, pressing it to her cheek and covering it with her hand. "You've never said anything. We've always been physical and I love it, but-..." She trailed off and tried to think past the lust haze filling her thoughts. "I didn't know you were an option for me. I didn't know we were an option."

"Sorry, I'll... try to. I know this is hard," Lincoln murmured honestly, watching with a heat that lingered in the way he looked at her. Pressing his hand against her cheek, he smiled when she moved his hand away from her tempting mouth and teasing tongue. For a moment he thought she was going to do something else before she didn't. "I don't know, I've always thought you were beautiful Lee. I've told you enough."

He'd thought that at least had been obvious. The other stuff had taken him longer to realise. The way he felt after texting with her all night, wanting her to be with him and aching, hard, until he had a cold shower to relieve the tension. He hadn't thought too much about it though, it was just the way they always had been but he had been jealous. And looking back, he always had been when she had dates as happy as he tried to be.

It was just complicated on his end now, he liked Sam and didn't want to lose her friendship when that was just beginning.

"Do you want us to be an option?" Lincoln asked.

"You think lots of girls are beautiful, Lincoln. You went out with them..." She said and looked up at him. "I love hearing it. I do. But when you're dating other women?" She realised how that sounded and smiled ruefully. "Apparently I get jealous. I don't think I saw it before but yeah, I really get jealous."

She thought about his question. This thing they had, their friendship, it was too important to throw away if things went wrong but she didn't want to never take the chance either. She watched him for a second. "Do you? You date more than I do. I...is there any way I can say 'I don't want to share' without sounding like an asshole?" she asked with a shake of her head.

"Because lots of girls are beautiful, just the way they are and someone should tell them that. But it's-it's different with you somehow, I don't know." Lincoln said thoughtfully, trying to explain it but it was hard to explain the feeling inside his chest. The way he felt when he was with her. Comfortable with her in a way he very rarely was with anyone.

"Yeah, I think I kind of do want to try. Even if it doesn't work, I don't think it would change us." Lincoln said. And if it did, well Lincoln was always the guy getting dumped not the guy doing the dumping. If she decided that she wanted out then he'd support her choice, he'd be there for her as a friend. Because he did care. "You don't sound like an asshole, you could never sound like that. And I don't usually date more than one person. I'd like to date you though, if you'll have me?"

He brushed her hair back, leaning down to kiss her softly. He'd talk to Samantha, he hoped she'd be okay with his choice. And he'd still stay friends with her if she was okay with that.

"I'll always have you, Lincoln. Any way you want to be with me...friends, whatever this new thing is. But yes. I think I really do want to date you." She said, grinning.

She went willingly when he leant in to kiss her, making a hungry noise as she slipped her tongue out to taste his lips. Maybe this wasn't going to work. Maybe they wouldn't be compatible, physically. That thought struck a chord and she hesitated a little, unsure now. He had a lot of experience. She wasn't completely innocent but she was nowhere near his league. She just didn't know how to tell him about the whole virginity thing.

"Not quite sure how dating is going to be any different to our normal dates but I like this. I could get used to it." Lincoln murmured, thinking about the kisses and how she seemed to hungrily kiss him. Teasing her eager little tongue, Lincoln kissed her deeper before stretching his arms around her.

Feeling the way she tensed, he pulled back to press a chaste kiss against her mouth. He didn't want to scare her off, not after everything.

"That was... good, incredible," Lincoln murmured gruffly, brushing a kiss against her cheek then jaw before finally kissing her neck. Tongue darting out, he licked her skin gently before sucking a little. He had to stop himself from biting even if he really wanted to. "Am I still allowed to stay over?"

"I think there might be some differences." She said, grinning and looking at him like she was just seeing him for the first time. How could she have missed this for the last however many years?

The little chaste kiss went a long way to making her relax. The kisses down her throat had her baring it for him, arching into him, cupping the back of his head as he sucked at her skin. It felt obscenely good. She was already desperate to get more, more of him, of this, of them. "You're still allowed to stay over." She murmured. "You can keep me warm."

"I don't know, unless you mean you're going to let me win at COD for once?" Lincoln murmured, teasing smile lingering on his lips. Running his hand down her back, he tried to soothe the spooked tension he'd noticed as they stayed together. "We'll go slow? However much you want, okay? No pressure."

He couldn't promise he wouldn't groan though, not when she bared her throat for him like that. Following the line of her neck to her collarbone, Lincoln kissed a path down before drawing his mouth back up again. He had to take a moment to breathe when he felt her arch into him, and another when he nipped at her skin with blunt teeth trying to get her to moan.

"Never happening." She said, leaning up to kiss him, thrilled at the ability to do that. She didn't think that would ever get old. He was soothing her with every sweep of his hand over her back. He'd always been able to calm her down when she was worked up and this was apparently no different. "Thank you." She said smiling softly at him. "I want it - all of it - but slow is good for me. A little out of practice..." she swallowed and scrunched her nose up. "also, lacking in practical experience." She added, hoping he'd understand. Maybe he already knew, but if they were being honest then she was going to be completely honest.

Of course her resolve was going to be tested every single time he did that moaning breathe against her skin and made her echo it by biting her gently. She didn't think she'd be into that but holy shit it felt good and it punched a noise out of her that she was pretty sure she'd never made ever. "Jesus, Lincoln."

"But I'm pretty sure I'm your Bae, I think that gets COD privileges. Doesn't it?" Lincoln joked, even as he winced at the word bae which he kind of loathed even if he did think Miranda Sings was hilarious. And he really liked terrifying Roose with her.

Running his hand up and down her back, Lincoln nodded as he listened to her. Pulling back to look in her eyes, he looked at her sincerely as he tried to answer her.

"I know, it's okay. I don't mind Lee, I just want you to be comfortable... To feel good, okay?" Lincoln murmured honestly. He didn't want her to ever feel unsafe with him, he only wanted to make her feel desired, happy, and comfortable.

"That was a good Jesus Lincoln?" He asked before nodding. He touched where he'd kissed her with his fingertips before smiling at her. "Okay, that I can do."
